My one junk food craving

I'm a pretty healthy eater. I get lots of fruits and veggies in my diet, and am pretty good at balancing things out. I also don't particularly care for most snacks. But last night, as I was going through the grocery store to pick up a few items for dinners this week and next (cans of tomatoes, milk, etc), I saw my arch nemesis on sale:

Pre-jarred salsa con queso.

This stuff is HORRIBLE for you, but it's just soooooo goooooood. I bet half of the jar is gone by now, and Matt didn't even have any! I'll put it on everything - crackers, tortilla chips, veggies, rice. It's ridiculous how little self control I have when there's a jar of this stuff in my pantry or fridge.

What's your junk food weakness?

OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT STUFF! I remember sitting on a blanket with you and Jesse, a huge bag of chips, and a jar of that + a big bowl of guac. YUMMMM. But then I also remember the scale starting with a "2", and I bet Jesse does too, and I am not craving it as much anymore :)

I think you should also add pints of Ben & Jerry's, although I haven't seen you put one of those away in a long time...

As you know, I crave lots of junk food, but salsa con queso is probably on my "worsts" list too. Also maybe certain fast food items. And gummy candy.

Annie's Goddess dressing is my version of that jarred cheese sauce. I love on everything--veggies, sandwiches, mmmm. Since it's organic, I tell myself it's not THAT bad for me, right?

If I had all the $$ in the world, I would eat tahini-miso sauce (literally tahini + miso + some sparkling water--maybe some lemon) ALL THE TIME. But miso is so expensive, and the tahini goes so fast!

Reduced Fat WheatThins (they're less oily than the full fat ones). I could down a box of those dang things in hours if you let me. They're good every which way -- dipped in savory things, dipped in sweet things, on their own, topped with sweet things, topped with savory things... they fulfill all the hand-to-mouth movement cravings plus salt and crunch cravings, what more could you ask for?

And it's only WheatThins. The FiberOne ones and the Kashi ones, for example, are much tastier, but they're not as addictive. :-P
